Claims Examiner job opportunity, Melbourne East

**Your new company**

Based close to East Melbourne, this intermediary-focused Underwriting agency offer a diverse range of Insurance Products, allowing you to leverage your expertise across various distribution channels. With a strong belief in empowering their team members, they are seeking an experienced insurance Claims Examiner to support their Financial Lines team

**Your new role**
- Working closely with Underwriters and the specialist claims team
- Effective and efficient communication to all key stakeholders
- Delivering technically competent support and advice to our stakeholders
- Compliance with all company policy, procedures and guidelines following industry best practice
- Technical advice - providing accurate advice to clients with respect to policy product coverage across a range of commercial and personal product lines

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Exceptional all round communication and attention to detail
- Knowledge of back office processes and credit control
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a team or independently
- ** Prior knowledge of Australian claims regulations in financial lines (experience working within PI, Medical malpractice, real estate, ML would be highly regarded)**
