**About the Role**:
The TROC Specialist Trainer is responsible for implementing training plans and resource material in order to maintain a high level of competency and ensuring that all applicants are trained and assessed equally. You will develop, implement and manage the change of the new training standard, structure and competency framework for the Technology Remote Operation Centre (TROC). You will also be responsible for the assessment of new team members and the ongoing development and verification of competency of our team.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Design, development and facilitation of training content and Training Plans for TROC Specialists in order to maintain a high level of expertise;
- Ensuring that procedures are up-to-date and that training aligns with Our Requirements and Standards;
- Monitor shift skills balance and coordinate training for team members to meet their role requirements;
- Training and verification of TROC professionals in accordance with their role requirements
**About You**:
Criteria for this role includes:
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across a range of teams;
- Digital fluency and the ability to use technology
- Understanding of learning principles, frameworks and the integration of these into the design of training programs to facilitate best practice learning experiences for participants;
- Ability to lead change and find new ways of adding value;
- An ability to train and coach learners with varying levels of experience;
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement with a focus on improving training materials and delivery methodologies to improve the experience and efficiency of the training approach;
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required or a Tertiary qualification in Training, Education, Learning and Development or a related discipline.
- The ability to express oneself clearly and effectively in both spoken and written forms.
- Someone with a high degree of emotional intelligence. Self-awareness, motivation, compassion, and empathetic social skills are all expected of you. We have a strong sense of camaraderie at work, which helps us build a strong team culture.
