**The day to day involves**
- People Leadership: Lead a diverse, multi-location team of 20-40 professionals, ensuring 24x7 operational support.
- Budget & IT Asset Management: Manage Capex & Opex budgets, chargebacks, licenses, and IT assets.
- Business Stakeholder & Portfolio Management: Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, drive adoption, and align business KPIs.
- Cloud Enablement: Drive cloud adoption and manage cloud-based data platforms.
- Vendor Relationship & Contracts Management: Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and contract renewals.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- Expertise in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Management, and Big Data.
- Extensive experience in DevOps management.
- Proven experience managing operations & CI services using internal and external teams.
- Hands-on experience as a Senior Solution Designer in technology domains.
- Experience designing and implementing big data solutions including data ingestion (real-time and batch), stitching, data processing, curation, and ML pipelines.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including team management and mentoring.

**Technical Skills & Stack**
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Data Processing: Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery
- Programming & Frameworks: Scala, Python, Spark
- Analytics & Data Management: Digital Transformation, Power BI, Tableau
- Supporting Technologies & Tools: Associated data platforms and monitoring tools
