**Purpose of the Role**
BGIS is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven **Help Desk Operator**to support facility operations at a prominent public venue. Reporting to the Contract Administration & Help Desk Manager, you will coordinate service requests and maintain strong communication with clients, internal teams, and contractors.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a shared inbox and inbound calls from clients, contractors, and team members
- Log and track service requests using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Liaise with facilities managers and vendors to ensure prompt resolution
- Prioritise tasks and escalate critical issues as required
- Compile and review reports, assisting with trend analysis
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance with service standards
- Coordinate cleaning, security, and event-related service requests
**Education, Experience & Skills**
**Essential**:
- Experience in help desk, customer service or facilities coordination roles
- Strong administrative and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
- Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
- Comfortable working on a rotating shift roster (Site Operating Hours are 7am-11pm, 7 days a week including public holidays)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder liaison skills
**Desirable**:
- Familiarity with CMMS systems such as Manhattan, SAP or MEX
- Previous exposure to facilities or contract environments
**Workplace Flexibility**
This is a full-time, onsite role based at a high profile venue in **Southbank**. The position follows a rotating shift schedule (10 hour shifts) to ensure full service coverage. Hybrid work options are not available due to the operational nature of the site.
