**About the position**

The ACO is seeking a Data Administrator experienced in working with health information to join our Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, whilst supporting teams across the ACO, this new role within the organisation offers the postholder the opportunity to lead, develop, and enhance the ACOs reporting activities.

Leveraging BI tools and data management systems, this role will provide accurate data and costings to a number of projects and service enhancement initiatives across the ACO.

Accountabilities
- Query, analyse and present data to stakeholders across the organisation and external Department of Health Victorian Eyecare Service (VES).
- Identify opportunities to further strengthen the current reporting processes.
- Ensure information is presented in a format that can be easily understood by users from all backgrounds and is readily accessible to managers.
- Support the CFO and Senior Accountant to monitor, analyse and report on data operations within agreed timeframes.
- Provide support to business managers in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and in understanding financial performance against operational targets and performance metrics.
- Assist with promoting awareness of data quality throughout the organisation by providing education to all staff and conducting regular data integrity audits.
- Take the role of data integration lead for all major process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the completion of end of month data, KPI reporting, and Department of Health quarterly reporting.

**About you**

With expert understanding of SQL databases, and experience in working with complex information, you will be able to provide accurate, reliable, and timely data to teams across the organisation. You will be well organised and able to provide efficient administration of the key data systems across the organisation.

Working across various teams, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to break down data to ensure information is clearly communicated and understood by all. You will have the confidence and ability to suggest process enhancements with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Skills and Knowledge
- Experienced in using business intelligence data software tools (Workday Adaptive BI tool or similar highly desirable).
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to build positive relationships and foster collaboration across departments.
- Experience in working for a not for profit, or public health organisation.

Essential criteria
- In depth knowledge of SQL, Excel and database management.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information technology, Health Information Management, or related discipline.
- Motivated to serve the community and, in particular, for people experiencing disadvantage.
