Grocery services include the provision of warehousing services and an integrated transport strategy interstate and intrastate for large supermarkets and retailers with a diverse product range.

**Job Description**:
Toll Grocery division is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the transport operation at our shared Coles Parkinson DC. Lead, develop and mentor our dynamic transport operations team to exceed customer expectations, and facilitate an inclusive culture on site. Contribute to business strategy, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in this exciting role.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Coles QLD Transport, this role will manage and communicate effectively with the customer to achieve success. Experience genuine career progression and continuous development through our learning and development portal, and management committed to your success.

As the Operations Manager, you will:

- Set and manage standards and performance expectations for work group leadership to ensure the highest standards of excellence in customer service reliability and efficiency.
- Be responsible for accountabilities of all roles reporting directly or indirectly and if required may be required to fulfill these areas of accountability to ensure business continuity.
- Promote collaboration and acceptance across the business by providing leadership and resources.
- Ensure workers are trained in and follow work policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- 4 + years experience in transport leadership positions.
- Strong communication and customer management skills and experience.
- Alignment with Toll Values and our Safety Obsessed culture.
- Desire to progress in your career and continuously improve.
