- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary HEW Level 7 (103,603 - $112,144) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
- About You
We’re seeking a proactive and relationship-driven professional to lead industry engagement for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) across the College of Business and Law.

As the Coordinator Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Partnerships, you will be responsible for building on and strengthening the College’s engagement strategy to positively impact on WIL opportunities, including internships and partnered projects. Engagement will drive an increase in the number and variety of opportunities available for students including solid pipelines for ongoing partnerships.

You will build strong working relationships with industry professionals, College and University staff to source and strengthen quality WIL placements to align with WIL programs, courses and disciplines. This role will also develop and grow HDR Internship Partnerships for the College, working closely with relevant stakeholders.

Working collaboratively with the Senior Coordinator, Work Integrated Learning, WIL Academics and the Strategic Industry Engagement team you will develop, support and implement a strategy for effective industry engagement for the College that creates strong lead generation and pipelines for future and ongoing WIL activities. This role will actively contribute to building a positive and high performing team culture and seek continuous improvement of processes and systems, including enhanced risk mitigation.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Demonstrated ability to build and retain relationships with industry professionals with a focus on promoting Work Integrated Learning or student programs- Relevant experience in business development and account management, preferably in a tertiary education environment.- Demonstrated strong communication, relationship building and negotiation skills to work collaboratively with academic and professional staff, students and external clients from diverse backgrounds- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop and implement effective and improved processes- Demonstrated ability to work across a business development workflow, including lead generation, conversion, account/relationship management and updating various data bases for reporting and compliance- Proven initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act without specific direction where appropriate- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with proven ability to re-adjust workload priorities to meet conflicting deadlines- Demonstrated proficiency in computer software packages, working with accuracy and attention to detail
