We are a **specialist NDIS Provider **that focuses on supporting those with Mental Health conditions to live, and thrive in the community. We work closely with the NDIS, Homelessness Services, Department of Communities & Justice, Corrections and Youth Services, to assist people with disability to access secure long term housing.

Our Mental Health Support Workers, work on site, at our many locations across Western Sydney. **Personal care** is **NOT **required in this role, rather you will need to work with people who have behavioural issues and need help with managing their emotions.

The work involves assisting participants, in their home, or in a Supported Independent Living environment to:

- Cook, clean and complete their laundry and other daily tasks.
- Manage their challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations.
- Assist them in accessing the community, medical appointments and recreational activities.
- Building rapport and trust with our participants to lead more fulfilling lives.

**The essentials to work for us**:

- You must have the right attitude towards supporting people with Disability
- A willingness to work with Challenging Behaviour
- A relevant qualification, or willing to obtain one - Cert 3 in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work etc.
- Pass a NDIS Worker Check, and Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- A drivers license and own vehicle - we do reimburse you

We pay according to and above the Modern SCHADS award, with penalties on top.

We offer consistency of hours, with our staff working a minimum of 24 hours a week, and regular rosters.

We foster a strong team culture and believe in taking care of our staff, as they perform the most important role of supporting our participants.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 38 per week
