Our client is seeking a Head of Medical to oversee all medical affairs across all key business functions such as Prescription, Aesthetic, and Consumer.

Head of Medical - ANZ Division

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our client is a category leader in dermatology, with a global portfolio of premium flagship brands and services. They pride themselves in delivering greater consumer engagement, generating better customer insights, and driving continuous innovation.

Due to significant growth, they are seeking a Head of Medical to oversee all medical affairs across all key business functions such as Prescription, Aesthetic, and Consumer.

You will be responsible for meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders, building a reputable high performing team and ensuring that all medical activities are conducted in a compliant and ethical fashion.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- General management of all medical affairs activities for all business units in Galderma Australia and New Zealand
- Managing the strategic direction, planning, execution and interpretation of clinical trials/research and the data collection activities
- Responsible for overall scientific governance, medical information, education, and healthcare professional and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement competitive and differentiated medical affairs plans and strategies for products within each business unit.
- Oversight of medical information services, promotional material review and HCP compliance
- Identifying data gaps and generating data, including supporting the HEOR process
- Ensure proper training and engagement plans for MSL and professional affairs where applicable.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**REQUIREMENTS AND IDEAL PROFILE**:

- Relevant tertiary education in a related field is a must.
- 5-10 years of medical experience in medical affairs function in a relevant industry.
- Proven experience in direct line and staff management.
- Established experience in analysing and evaluating data for scientific rigour and able to review and extract relevant information.
