Progressive Youth Care are looking for more team members to join our residential Youth care team.

Progressive was built upon the belief that young people, when empowered to believe in themselves and their future, are able to overcome the obstacles they have faced in their lives.

We deliver a range of services to children, young people and families ranging from Youth support, family contact, court support and crisis support. We aspire to create an environment where young people can feel safe and empowered. Our services work to balance the young persons needs and wants while maintaining care plan objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Willing to do shift work, including last minute call ins, weekends and sleepovers.
- Willing to work with just a moments notice including overnight work.
- Experience working with children and young people with complexed and challenging behaviours highly desired but not essential, as we do provide training.
- Current paid QLD blue card **(MANDATORY)**.
- Up to date Australian Recognised first aid and CPR certificate **(ability to obtain)**.
- Drivers license and comprehensive insurance, full access to a car. **(MANDATORY)**:

- Must be willing to travel to Ipswich, Brisbane, Moreton Bay and Gold Coast regions.
- Passion for working with children and young people with challenging behaviours particularly teens.
- A desire to work as a team, follow policies and open to developing new ideas to expand our services.
- Knowledge and understanding of the developmental needs of children and young people, especially those who have suffered trauma.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
