- **Up to $167,250.00 p.a. total salary package**($141,882.00 - 150,000.00 + 11.5% super)*

The City is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Principal Building Surveyor.

**About the Opportunity**

As the Principal Building Surveyor, you will lead the Building Services team and provide proactive direction, support and advice to the Building Services team in line with the City’s strategic objectives. You will play a key role in supervising and mentoring Building Surveyors and Senior Building Surveyors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to a high standard of customer service.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary degree in Building Surveying or equivalent
- Level 2 (or higher) Building Surveyor Qualification and Registration
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, Local Laws and Policy.
- Extensive experience in interpreting maps and building plans and investigating, researching and reporting of building matters.
- Experience in leading and mentoring staff and/or a team.
