**The role**
The Home Claims Consultant is the face of Auto & General and is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience when lodging a Home Claim. This role is the main point of contact for customers and to support their claims lodgement, manage the end-to-end claims process, liaise with external suppliers, often corresponding with home assessors and builders You will also determine the outcome of customers claims reviewing supplier reports and policy documentation.

You will be someone who has exceptional customer services skills and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. This role will suit someone with previous experience in an administration support role
- Confidence to take responsibility for liability determination and claims acceptance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Experience with conflict resolution Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems
**Hours, remuneration and availability**
The position on offer is full time (37.5 hours per week) on a rotational rostering basis. Our current hours of operation are 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Sunday with a requirement to work a Saturday or Sunday once every 2 weeks
**Training**
Auto & General provides an initial 5-day, introductory training to kickstart your journey. As part of your development, we do provide an additional 4-week training that will be scheduled within your first few months of commencement in the role
