We are looking for a talented and dynamic Business Operations Manager to join our client’s leadership team of a modern & progressive law firm.

**About the business**:
Our client is a modern law firm, motivated to deliver excellence in legal services to the Bendigo community. With a philosophy concentrated on empowering clients through information, advice and transparency, the successful person will play a vital position in the leadership team.

**About the role**:
Working day-to-day with a highly skilled Director/Lawyer, you will form part of the leadership team with the Directors being responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firms' day-to-day operations. In this role you will work closely with staff to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement and develop strategies to streamline operations.

Key requirements will include:

- Manage and develop the corporate support team.
- Co-ordinate human resource functions including recruitment, induction, professional development, and training.
- Oversee the financial management of the business including preparing monthly financial reporting and budgets.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures and policies and seek to improve the delivery of client services.
- Manage the office systems and liaise with suppliers including ICT, accounting, and other managed service providers.
- Work with the Directors to develop and implement strategic plans to continuously improve and develop the firm.

**About you**:
As an experienced Business Operations Manager, you will enjoy working with high performing staff that produce quality work.
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in dynamic and successful businesses
- A solid understanding of business finance including budgeting, cash flow, debtors, P&L, and balance sheets.
- Outstanding organisation skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Project management experience with the ability to research, evaluate and produce business cases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and resilient approach to challenges.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, and an ability and willingness to learn new systems.
