**Your new company** is a well known organisation in the Not for profit space looking to hire an AR & Collections officer on an ongoing basis.

**Your new role** will include but will not be limited to:

- Verifying bank payments and posting daily receipts up to 100
- Correction of payments that have been wrongly allocated
- Invoice corrections/amendments
- Raising credit notes to off-set the invoices when required
- Generating invoices and receipts
- Allocation of daily payments and investigating the correct remittance advice
- Assist in EOFY write-offs
- Worked on providing feedback for potential write-offs and help assist in the reporting to the BOD
- Processed year-end Journals for smaller figures and general housekeeping
- Maintaining an Aged Debtor report up-to-date
- Investigating any irregular payments and resolving them
- Investigating the correct price to be charged on old invoices while recovering debt for previous
- Liaise with the operations team to make sure all the client queries are addressed correctly and on a timely basis
- Entering General Journal entries

**What you'll need to succeed**

Similar experience in an AR and Collections role is necessary. Technical and system skills would be an advantage.
