About the Role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Workforce Operations Centre (WOC) Team Leader to join our growing company. You will be responsible for ensuring the WOC Schedulers optimise, as required, the daily Simplex Work Order dispatch process and ensure NBN’s OTD Schedule is fulfilled.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Reporting Line: WOC Manager
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the WOC Schedulers ensuring daily dispatch of Simplex Work Orders to the Contractor’s field workforce, including daily jeopardy management in accordance with the Unify Interactions Manual and to satisfy the relevant Performance Metrics and KPIs.
- Responsible for the WOC Scheduler to manage the Contractor’s daily workforce commitments including:
- The dispatch of Simplex Work Orders to its field workforce in accordance with nbn’s OTD Schedule;
- Management of OTD Schedule changes;
- Provision of daily Work Order support including extensions of time and re-scheduling;
- Daily jeopardy management to meet nbn’s operational requirements;
- And any other requirements set out in the Unify Interactions Manual.
- Day to day scheduling including forecasting workloads up to 1 Month ahead across multiple projects and to ensure that Tickets of Work match with the resource allocated and are realistic and achievable
- Develop strong relationships with project team and field teams to ensure successful delivery of all Tickets of Work
- Training and Assisting of the WOC Schedulers with any requirements

About You
- Previous Experience in People Management
- Previous Experience in Scheduling and Programming Tickets of Work
- Telecommunications industry experience
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite in an office environment
- Certificate in Telecommunications (Desirable)
- Ability to understand technical aspects of the work undertaken by the team (procurement, design, construction, operation and maintenance) - Understanding of telecommunications and distribution networks, processes and procedures, including FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, HFC NBN Technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and take accountability and make decisions unsupervised
