**About the organisation**
Eye Surgery Associates brings together a group of highly qualified, sub-specialist Ophthalmologists, offering a range of medical and surgical eye specialist services delivered across four locations. With 18 specialists and a total of 80 staff who are committed to the highest standards, the practice has a proud reputation for excellence in care. Experts in their fields, the specialists, through their appointments with several public hospitals and universities, are dedicated to clinical research and educating the next generation of ophthalmologists
**About the role**
The Chief Executive Officer will work closely with the Board of Directors, comprising four surgeons, and will be accountable for supporting the strategic direction of the business. The appointee will also lead efficient and effective day-to-day operations while driving the continued modernisation of its administrative, marketing and technological capabilities. Critical to success in this role is maintaining the reputation of the organisation by meeting the relevant standards and accreditation requirements and providing compelling leadership to foster a culture of excellence that delivers safe, high-quality specialist care to meet the needs of its community.

You are a highly regarded operational leader with the capabilities and experience to manage and develop a patient-centred, specialist medical practice. This includes commercial acumen underpinned by strong business and financial skills.
