Reporting to the Group Marketing Communications Manager, you will manage PR and Communications activities for our Australian Hotels ensuring all activities align with Ovolo brand and maximise Ovolo’s positive exposure in local and international markets across various platforms. Sounds good?

**The Gig**
- Support Group Director of Marketing and Group Marketing Communications Manager (AU) with developing 12-month marketing and communications plan for both hotel and F&B outlets
- Support the Group Marketing Communications (AU) Manager on implementing group wide initiatives at a local level
- Support hotel Management in the ongoing development and management of F&B marketing initiatives, including campaign and promotional ideation and roll out
- Work with the Group Marketing Communications Manager and external PR Agencies to leverage publicity opportunities.
- Assist the various hotel Managers in leveraging key hotel events. This will include the development of supporting media liaison, branded content opportunities and media collateral
- Develop and implement social media content calendars and weekly social and blog content
- Pro-actively works with the Sydney and Canberra internal teams such as F&B, Sales, Revenue and Hotel Management to resolve queries
- Ensure all current promotions/offers/packages are promoted externally within its respective market and work with Group Marketing Communications Manager to ensure that all Teams are briefed
- Manage and implement all partnership opportunities for NSW and ACT across the F.A.M.E Pillars ensuring there is an ROI across both brand awareness and commercial outcomes
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues. Facilitate marketing research as required
- Management of relationships with NSW and ACT tourism boards
- Cultivate local relationships with media, influencers, and industry
- Manage daily media relations, media enquiries, site tours and opportunities for the respective regions
- Manage any press monitoring queries with press monitoring supplier
- Management of all media and influencer famils, ensuring ROI
- Administration; copywriting, reporting/analysis, budgeting, management of expenses

- Experience in developing creative and agency briefs
- Strong organisational, time and project management skills
- Strong copywriting skills, for both advertising and content output
- Strong social media, web, and digital marketing skills
- Experience with content marketing activities
- Experience in execution of multi-channel campaigns
- Ability to build relationships with senior management
- Ability to think creatively and bring innovation to the role
- Ability to be self-managed and work independently
- Relevant Marketing or Business qualifications
- Full of energy and enthusiasm, with a strong determination to success
