**About The Role**
Our Berkeley Vale Private Hospital is seeking for an experience and adaptive Hotel Services Manager to join our Patient Housekeeping Team.
In this role you will manage the overall operations of the Catering and Housekeeping Department at Berkeley Vale Private Hospital in line with legislation, infection control policies and the organisation strategic direction. You will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, doctors and functions, ensuring a very high standard of food quality and cleanliness within the department in line with the required Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and Hospital policies.
This is a fast-paced role that requires strong time management to effectively meet the needs of the organisation's food services. This is a combined role across catering and Housekeeping department.
This role will directly report to the Director of Clinical Services.
**Your Skills and Experiences**
To succeed in this role you will be an experienced catering or Housekeeping professional with proven experience in culinary leadership, with hospital, medical or hotel experience being ideal for this role. You will bring a keen grasp of food safety programs and be a strong leader to your team with the capability to manage labour and product KPI’s/budgeting. You will be patient focused and demonstrate focus on providing a quality service to all of our stakeholders.
You will also bring;
- Experience within a catering or housekeeping management position, ideally within hospitals/health care.
- Must have qualifications in Catering - Food Handlers certificate & Food Safety Supervisors Category 1
- Experience as a Head Chef desirable
- Experienced in rostering, purchasing, product specification, stock control, diet codes, recipe and computerised menu systems
- Food Safety Supervisor Qualifications are essential.
- Any Catering/Hospitality qualifications and trade qualifications as a Chef are essential.
- Good understanding of infection control and standard of cleaning.
- Strong computer skills are required
