**About the role**

A great opportunity to join a high performing and visible team, the Insurance and Treasury Analyst is required to assist in managing Pacific National’s insurance portfolio, and incidents and insurance claims within the business. The Insurance & Treasury Analyst will complete claims management work and contribute to an evolving risk management strategy, working across a diverse stakeholder group including operational, corporate, and external stakeholders. The Insurance & Treasury Analyst will also assist the Treasury team during the preparation of investor presentations for half and full year results as well as capital markets issuances and other ad hoc projects. This role will provide back up for daily Treasury operations such as cashflow forecasting and the Treasury Management System.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assist with general administration and maintenance of the insurance portfolio
- Engagement of internal stakeholders on insurance matters and responding to general insurance queries
- Liaising with insurance broker on insurance matters
- Internal reporting to senior management on insurance matters
- Develop and maintain insurance related resources on the intranet
- Provide support to the Treasury team during periods of high workload
- Provide backup support for daily Treasury operations including cashflow and Treasury Management Systems

**About you**

As a self-driven administration professional with excellent communication skills, you will gain experience in Treasury and Finance with an industry leader. Ideally, you will have a general understanding of insurance and/or incident management operations within a large organisation and experience in transport or logistics would be highly advantageous, but not essential. You will need to be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel to be successful in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A tertiary degree in Finance or a related field would be advantageous.
- Advanced user of the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability and willingness to collaborate with and seek information from a large cross-section of the business at all levels
- Self-driven and proactive approach to autonomous work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with a range of internal and external stakeholders
