Our client is an Australian-owned company with facilities in NSW and VIC for processing and packaging cheese. They are a premier provider of dairy-based goods, services, and products to the retail, foodservice, and food ingredients industries.

An opportunity has become available for a **Production Manager** to oversee & manage the plants production & packaging teams within their _snacking room._ You will be responsible for ensuring all department supervisors are compliant with production schedules to ensure plant objectives are met.

**Reporting to the site manager, your key responsibilities will include;**
- Ensure the overall factory is maintained in a clean & tidy condition at all times
- Monitor the flow of goods throughout the factory
- Resolve any technical issues & drive process improvement
- Build internal/external relationships through consistent communication to ensure company objectives are met
- Manage & motivate department supervisors to undertake their duties & responsibilities
- Work towards achieving plant KPIs in safety, quality & cost usage
- Following all requirements of the AA and the Export Control (Milk Based Products) Rules 2021 are met

**Skills + Experience;**
- Min 3 years experience in a similar role _**(Food & Production exp essential)**_
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills (written + verbal)
- People management experience
- Ability to lead & drive success within the team
- Good team building skills

**Salary**: From $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greenacre NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Production management: 3 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
