**Position Objective**:

- To provide administration and project support to the team
- Actively support the Department’s vision, mission, and values
- To contribute to the success of the relevant Department through active teamwork and effective performance of the responsibilities and duties of the placement

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide general administration and project support to the Coordinator and across the team
- Provide administration support with key projects and events
- Undertake tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, creating templates and document organisation
- Record files using the relevant management system
- Support and liaise with contractors and consultants

**About you**:

- Reliable, punctual and have the willingness to learn
- Collaborative and ability to contribute positively to a team environment
- Good communication, organisation and administrative skills
- Written communication skills in order to prepare correspondence
- Ability to manage own time in accordance with priorities and daily workload
- An interest in local government and passionate about working with people

**Requirements for the role**:

- Must be living in Wyndham
- Current Victorian driver’s licence
- This potion may be required to work at other sites across the municipality to meet operational and business requirements
