About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Smiggle team as a Planning Assistant. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this role will be focused on providing support to the planning team to deliver and exceed sales and profit targets. You will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the planning team, reporting and analysis, loading promotions and working with the wider Planning and Buying teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating and running daily and weekly reports for the wider team
- Assisting with preparation of both in-season and post-seasonal reporting
- Loading and managing promotions into RMS
- Entering markdowns into AS400 system
- Preparing Store Comms on a weekly and ad hoc basis
- Analysis and reporting to assist Planners/Planning Manager
- EDM, POS and Catalogue sign off
- Undertake general team administration
- Support with the day to day running of the planning department

Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a stock allocation and or stock administration role would be advantageous
- You are passionate about retail, numbers and analysing data
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and work cross functionally with various departments
- Ability to think laterally and have a proactive approach
- Have an analytical mindset and an excellent working knowledge of Excel
