H-E Parts Engineering is a part of the HE Parts International group. We provide all machining services for Mining, Oil and Gas and a variety of other commercial customers. **About the role**

Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, the main purpose of the role will be to assist with the general day to day requirements of the workshop. We are looking for suitably qualified Trade Assistant to join our engineering team located in Naval Base WA. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and evidence of a solid work ethic.

**To be successful in this position you must have**:

- Previous experience in a similar role and industry
- Medium Rigid licence (MR class)
- Forklift Ticket (LF, LO)
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a self-starter, proactive and able to work unsupervised
- Be reliable, punctual and honest
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
- Computer literate, Pronto and MS Office Suite - _highly regarded_
