CI&T is looking for an experienced **Tech Lead** to join our fast-growing team in Brisbane for a 12 month fixed term opportunity. In this key role, you'll shape the future of innovative web and cloud solutions for leading Australian enterprises—collaborating closely with both our internal squads and clients’ technical teams.

**Core Duties**:

- ** Design & Architect**: Craft scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions aligned with business needs.
- ** Lead Collaboration**: Work closely with delivery managers, technical directors, and client teams to ensure quality from strategy to deployment.
- ** Get Hands-On**: Dive into code, tackle critical challenges, and guide developers through implementation.
- ** Drive Standards**: Uphold best practices in software architecture, performance, security, and code quality.
- ** Elevate Client Outcomes**: Translate complex requirements into impactful solutions that move the needle.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- 7+ years in software development & architecture, with 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Architect role.
- Expert in full-stack web technologies (JavaScript, React, Node.js preferred) and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Strong command of non-functional requirements—security, performance, scalability.
- Hands-on with AWS, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
- Ability to manage architectural roadmaps, tech debt, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communicator and strategic thinker with a passion for solving real-world business problems.

**Bonus Points For**:

- Experience in client-facing consulting environments.
- Relevant technical certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Background in enterprise-scale solution design.
