**The analyst will undertake analytics projects across health and social services, and in doing so provides critical analytics support to inform strategic policy development across the Department of Health. Specifically, the duties of the analyst include (1) manage large and complex databases using SQL and advanced Excel; (2) undertake statistical and descriptive data analysis to assist business areas with decision-making and improve policy outcomes; (3) support key stakeholders in interpreting and analysing analytical findings; and (4) meet and discuss with key stakeholders to gather requirements and assist with data model design.**
