Payroll Officer

The organisation continues to grow and expand its offering across a diversified portfolio. **Position** Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate processing of company payrolls. Duties will include: - Full end to end payroll on a fortnightly basis; - Assist with interpretation and implementation of changes in employment instruments and legislative requirements; - Assist with system implementations and updates; - Assist with development and documentation of robust payroll system & processes. - Manage payroll filing and archiving; - Assist with payroll queries. - Processing of monthly journals where required; - Payroll General Ledger reconciliations; - Lodging of company returns with relevant payroll government agencies (including ATO, IRD, Payroll Tax and Superannuation); - Other duties as requested. **Profile** - Work well within a team with minimum supervision; - Ensure that business communication is appropriate at all times; - Customer focused and ability to build rapport; - Focuses on details; - Ability to interpret employment agreements; - Complete required tasks in an accurate and timely manner; - Payroll background required; - Accounting Knowledge - basic understanding preferable; - Microsoft Office - Excel - at least basic skills required; - Pay Global experience preferable. **Benefits** An hourly rate of c$42per hour + Superannuation is on offer and an opportunity for career development.
