**The Role**

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our client acquisition efforts in the **real estate, allied health and legal sectors**. You’ll combine your sales expertise with your understanding of digital marketing to build relationships, identify opportunities and bring new clients into the Coates Corporation family.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Prospecting**: Identify, target and pursue new business opportunities in the real estate, allied health and legal sectors.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, positioning Coates Corporation as their trusted social media partner.
- **Tailored Proposals**: Collaborate with the creative team to develop customised pitches and proposals that address clients' unique marketing needs.
- **Networking**: Attend industry events, conferences and networking functions to promote the agency and generate leads.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, challenges and opportunities to refine your sales strategies.
- **Revenue Growth**: Meet or exceed sales targets by consistently bringing in new business.
- **CRM Management**: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and pipeline status.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with our account management and creative teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

**About You**
- **Proven Sales Experience**: At least 3-5 years in a business development, sales or account management role, preferably in a marketing, digital, or creative agency.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with the real estate, allied health or legal sectors, including their unique challenges and opportunities.
- **Digital Marketing Savvy**: Understanding of social media marketing strategies, platforms and trends is highly desirable.
- **Exceptional Communicator**: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- **Target-Oriented**: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- **Strategic Thinker**: Capable of analyzing market trends to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
- **Relationship Builder**: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust and long-term partnerships.
- **Tech Proficient**: Comfortable using CRM tools, Microsoft Office and digital presentation tools.
- **Self-Starter**: Highly organised with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
