**About the Role**
Due to continued growth of the business, we have an opportunity for an Occupational Health & Hygiene Coordinator to join the Contract Resources team in the Jandakot office. The position includes working as part of numerous cross-functional teams to maintain the standards at which Contract Resources will operate when working with hygiene contaminants with a potential impact on the health of its workforce. The incumbent will establish and maintain procedures compliant with relevant legislation and assist in the development and maintenance of systems that support these business processes.

**Role Accountabilities include**:

- Ensure that CR (and Client) OH requirements are understood, and controls implemented to standard when undertaking activities.
- Actively participate with HSE Leads and other internal stakeholders on the development and implementation of technical standards and procedures
- Assist in obtaining regulatory licensing to support global business processes
- Participate in regulatory audits where required
- Ensure risk analyses are done on identified activities in compliance with CR expectations
- Assist global business with OH testing equipment compliance
- Provide advice on hazardous substance management, including PPE, exposure monitoring, storage
- Participate in pre-planning work reviews at identified shutdowns and projects.
- Analyze results obtained from workplace sampling and biological monitoring to identify high risk similar exposure groups (SEGs) and develop recommended control plans.
- Oversee biological monitoring results following know or potential exposure
- Assist project leadership and HSE Leads in identifying medical assessment requirements for high-risk activities
- Ensure all managers and leaders in the region are trained to an appropriate level of occupational health management
- Participate in weekly HSE/Zero Harm meetings
- Pre-plan site visits with Site Managers, Project Managers and HSE
- Provide leadership to the global business through proactive OH management
- Actively support the HSE Lead, Site Manager, and the Clients on OH/HSE issues
- Maintain and enhance strong client relationships

**To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within the Oil and Gas industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Hygiene
- Post-Graduate Certification desirable
- High level of written and communication skills
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives
- Proven success in stakeholder relations
- Noise Officer
- Radiation Safety Officer
