**Our Opportunity**

The primary objective of this role is to support the overall growth of the Australian Unity health fund by helping Overseas visitor customers buy health insurance, proactively retain them and service our existing member base. Our Centre supports both inbound & outbound calling, which will enable you to connect with members in a customer centric model to support members in understanding the value of health insurance while in Australia and why Australian Unity is the right health fund for them. Your strong customer service ethos, working with our AU value proposition will enable you to make recommendations that suit their needs. This role will enable you to connect with our current member base and identify how we create value as a member with Australian Unity.

As a member of a strong and supportive team that puts our customers first, your role involves reaching sales & Retention Targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

**What you will do**
- Successfully engage with a range of Overseas members through inbound telephone channels and outbound dialling them if necessary
- Make each interaction positive by actively listening to support the health insurance needs of the customer
- Actively engage members by understanding their needs and value for having health insurance with AU and mitigate any risks/reasons for them wanting to leave
- Successfully create value for our new and existing members by delivering exceptional customer experiences

**What we are looking for**
- Possess recent retention, customer service, or sales experience in a similar environment
- The ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a disciplined virtual environment
- Mature attitude to your work with sensitivity to our customer's confidential information
- A passion for Customer Service with experience in a related environment
- Have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Availability to work in a rotating roster between Monday - Friday from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm.
- Experience in health insurance sales or a strong understanding of health insurance products is well-regarded but not essential.
