**The Role**
Staff Specialist (Maternal Fetal Medicine or High risk Obstetrics)
- The Maternity unit sees a 1000+ births annually and staffing includes experienced midwives with highly respected MGP and KYM schemes.
- **The unit is supported by a Level 4 Neonatal and Intensive Care Unit. The role includes providing care for high risk pregnancies and participation in obstetric endocrine and high risk obstetric antenatal clinics.**:

- Participation in obstetric ultrasound including fetal growth and Doppler studies.

This is Australia’s second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions.
