- As an **Electrical Technical Officer**, you will provide technical oversight and support for electrical assets and systems across **Ventia’s Defence contract**. Working closely with HV technicians and the broader operations team, you’ll be a key escalation point for electrical compliance, audits, contractor support, and system integrity.

**To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead technical compliance for electrical systems under contract obligations
- Provide technical support to operations and guide HV teams
- Manage system audits, record-keeping, and ensure legislative compliance
- Participate in asset condition monitoring and lifecycle assessments
- Support root cause investigations and report writing
- Assist with transitioning assets from build to operations (HOTO)
- Maintain electrical compliance registers and contribute to recovery planning

**About you**:

- Trade-qualified electrician, ideally with an engineering degree or strong field experience
- WA Electrical Contractor’s Licence (or eligible to obtain/transfer)
- Solid understanding of contract compliance, safety, and risk frameworks
- Comfortable with technical documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Previous experience managing or operating an electrical business highly desirable
- Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for Baseline Defence Security Clearance
