**Your business**
The BB Payments Product team is responsible for developing and enhancing the payments solutions for customers across all segments of CommBank, and cover 3 payment streams:
Domestic Payments such as NPP, Direct Entries, BPAY and RTGS Priority Payment; Specialised Payments such as Austraclear, CHESS, Payables Direct, Agency Payment Facility, Retail Lockbox, Wholesale Lockbox, Voucher View and Cheque Issuance Facility; and International Payments for both inward and outward IMTs and Global Cash Manager.

**Do Work That Matters**

A Product Manager (PM) owns one or more products within a line of products. The PM is responsible for sourcing information from various sources to enable monitoring of product performance and assessing that performance against key regulatory and performance objectives. The PM is also responsible for rolling-out strategic or risk buy-down change initiatives by engaging with all stakeholders, creating formal plans and documenting processes to ensure sound change management. The PM is also responsible for acting as an SME on changes rolled out by business partners.

**More specifically, you will;**
- Product Management: Manage the Direct Entry, Direct Debit, elockbox, TNA and Bureau Processing Payments products through the product lifecycle, maximising revenue and profitability.
- Drive growth and development of the Payments products.
- Product and Initiative Development / Prioritisation: Work with key stakeholders (vendors, segments and support teams) to manage the pipeline of product and initiative development activities and roadmaps.
- Reporting & Analytics: With the Portfolio Insights & Analytics team, use metrics of the Payments products to identify opportunities to drive growth, development, revenue and educate various internal stakeholders on trends.
- Pricing Policy: Set and regularly review pricing policies across the Payments products suite.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor activity to understand trends in the market.
- Financial Management: Demonstrate full understanding of the drivers of the Payments products business and drive positive outcomes.
- Project Management: Project manage the implementation of major product development initiatives, specifically change management, marketing and implementation.
- Risk: Proactively manage and optimise risks for product and initiative development activities as well as embedding BAU controls as appropriate across for the Payments products.
- Sales Engagement: Proactively engage with the Sales Engagement Team and Sales Segments to articulate the CVPs of initiatives and products.
- Marketing / Communications: With the Marketing / Communications teams, recommend initiatives/products for featuring and promotion, provide content (in the form of case studies, customer feedback, and use cases) to generate positive coverage and support communications.
- 3rd Party and Supplier Management: In conjunction with the Business Performance Manager, manage day-to-day business relationship with 3rd Parties and Suppliers for product and initiative development activities, ensuring appropriate prioritisation, release scheduling, quality, timeliness and issue resolution.
- External Compliance: Ensure that all product and initiative developments are fully compliant with external requirements including scheme. Monitor developments in the compliance and ensure that product and initiative development pipelines encompass emerging compliance requirements.

- Product management experience, preferably in financial services
- Demonstrated experience in driving revenue and profit growth for a product or product set.
- Experienced in implementing new products within a large organisation.
- Excellent presentation skills, with some preference to formal presentation training
- The ability to present to a variety of audiences in different environments
- Solid knowledge of the Financial Services industry
- Strong numerical and conceptual analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify fundamental economic and business issues
- The ability to handle and prioritise multiple issues at the same time
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Strong business writing skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Strong PC literacy
