**_About the Role_**
Due to continued growth of the business, we are seeking a qualified Asset Maintenance Manager to join our team. Within this role you will be managing a newly developed Australian Asset Management team which includes providing leadership, direction and support to all employees within the team Australian wide.
**_Duties will include but not limited to_**
- Provide leadership, direction and support to the Asset Management team, fostering an agile, innovative, service orientated team closely aligned with the overarching goals and objectives of the company
- To define, manage and audit the asset management program for the AU Region
- Evaluate the performance of existing assets, analyse operation, reliability, risk and failure trends supported by data that identify asset needs and what value the assets adds to the business
- Be responsible for the acquisition, renewal and disposal of group assets based on value proposition outcomes
- Manage the operations and maintenance of an asset, maximising operational availability through reliability while looking for opportunities to lower maintenance spend
- With a focus on cost and schedule deliver planned and preventative maintenance of assets
- Manage, action and report on all equipment defects raised, and fulfil all external compliance objectives on safety related maintenance flags
- Leverage best practise industry asset management techniques and processes
- Improving maintenance compliance and traceability to relevant asset standards by establishing and driving maintenance and reliability Key Performance Indicators
- Work closely with the Finance team in matters relating to asset management accounting, including valuation, depreciation, renewal and maintenance
**_Requirements & Experience Needed_**
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Asset Management leadership role
- A tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Engineering or other appropriate tertiary qualification and extensive relevant experience
- Extensive management experience in a complex and high tempo operational/maintenance environment with experience in asset lifecycle cost and risk modelling, innovation and asset management problem solving
- Experience with managing maintenance management system and lifecycle management system
- Experience in analytical maintenance or reliability based techniques.
- An awareness of external compliance obligations and experience with diverse assets and complex infrastructure would be ideal.
- High level problem solving and the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders, customers, and other diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated commitment to OH&S and sustainability outcomes.
- Demonstrated team management and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience in the preparation of written business cases, analytical reports and briefings for use at an executive level
- Excellent Microsoft Office and Database Management skills
- Experience in implementing and/or management of an ISO 55001 compliant portfolio
