**About the job**

We are looking to enhance our organisations performance, drive purposeful innovation, creativity and critical thinking. This small but dynamic team forms part of the office of the CEO and has a broad agenda of supporting our people to be our best through the analysis of data, business / program review, critical and innovative thinking. While also supporting the delivery of our Capital, Operating and CI Projects via newly established PMO.

Public value will be achieved through improvements to efficiency and effectiveness, how we approach & solve problems, and how we deliver customer experience & fulfil commitments to our community by delivering our plans, projects, and initiatives.

The three key areas of focus are
- ** Business intelligence**
- Develop strategic roadmap for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics across City of Charles Sturt to support the strategic plan.
- Lead the design, rollout and ongoing support of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics for strategic Key Performance indicators and strategic indicators identified in the community plan.
- ** Project Manager Office (PMO)**
- Ownership of the councils PMO process, leading regular project performance meetings and steering groups.
- Operate in a highly supportive and problem-solving way while providing coaching and mentoring advice to Project Managers/Project Leads.
- ** Continuous Improvement (CI) & Innovation**
- Ownership of the councils CI program, leading workshops and execution of the CI initiatives.
- Drive the CI programs via the PMO process.
- Inspire, promote, and communicate innovation initiatives to support our staff to be creative in our approach.

The team is currently configured with 3FTE’s including this position, with the team make up flexible depending on applicants’ capabilities and needs.

**About the Team**

As a member of the Chief Executive Office, you will report to the CEO. This is a small team consists of PMO and Business Intelligence lead. Working in a small, collaborative and agile team, creates the opportunity to work across the council via cross functional teams.

This position is offered on a 5 year fixed term contract basis.
