**About the role**:
As the Grade 1 Social Worker you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to referred inpatients and families. A regular day will see you work clinically with patients, attend family meetings and non clinical meetings, and undertake other duties that support the social work department and it's operations.

**Key responsibilities will see you**:

- **provide counselling to patients and families**:

- **participate in multi-disciplinary, clinical and staff meetings**:

- **participate in quality improvement, or research**:

- **participate in a clinical rotational program (acute and sub-acute)**:

- **receive education, training and support from an Allied Health Professional New Graduate Program and Social Work Department Grade 1 Education and Support Program.**

**You must have**:

- **a degree in Social Work**:

- **ability to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment**
