An exciting opportunity has become available for a Credit and Collections officer to join the Computershare Utility Services (CUS) - Unitywater Revenue Operations Team based in Maroochydore.

**A role you will love**

The position of Credit and Collections officer forms part of the Revenue Operations Team. This team is responsible for many of the key ‘meter to cash’ activities for water accounts and customers, including maintaining and updating account data, the management of billing, processing of payments and assisting customers to pay their account via effective payment arrangements. These activities are undertaken by the team for both cyclical (quarterly water consumption and service charges) and non-cyclical (other fees and charges) accounts. This role performs credit and collections functions however is required to support the entire operations including performing any task within the meter to cash value chain.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct credit collection activities including inbound and outbound calling
- Negotiate and setup payment arrangements suitable to client needs including hardship customers
- Manage administrative activities, including system work queues and resolving escalated customer queries
- Ensure that all items are processed within appropriate client agreed SLA’s
- Adherence to all policies and procedures of both Computershare and the client
- Actively participate in team discussions, meetings and other team forums, to impart knowledge and ideas that result in team decisions
- To be considered for this position, you will have come from a collections or customer service environment and be able to successfully multi-task.

- A passion for providing quality and efficient service
- Previous experience in utility or related industry is preferred
