**The Opportunity**

Opportunity for a Rigger Portal Crane Driver to join our team based in the defence precinct in Garden Island Sydney. This full time permanent opportunity will be responsible in providing extensive skills within the Dock Group in support of the Platform Services business within a multi resources team operating in various environments.

Responsible will include:

- Operate a portal crane
- Willingness to undertake multi skilled activities in all aspects of ship repair.
- Undertake rigging work inboard of vessel.
- Undertake rigging work external of vessel.
- Capable to undertake rigging equipment inspections for fit for use.
- Work with Mobile & Portal Cranes as a Dogman / Rigger.
- Actively manage the Portal Crane area for safety requirements as described in the SOP.
- Knowledge and understanding of oil spill equipment operation and deployment.

Desirable certifications/licences
- Mobile Crane Certificate C6 or better
- Portal Crane Licence/ Ticket
- HR Licence
- Tower Crane Licence
