**About the Role**

Are you looking to join a team with world class culture? We are looking for a passionate Recreational Officer to join our team at Wodonga on a permanent part time basis. As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will drive the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities. You will also lead mental health and wellbeing programs which empower our resident's choices and independence.

**Duties**
- Plan, organise, and lead activities for our residents that will meet social and recreational needs while also promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
- Assess and document the effectiveness of the programs, by tracking residents' progress and changing the programs as needed

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of a Cert III in Leisure and Lifestyle
- Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
- Previous experience within an aged or community care setting
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills
- The ability to solve problems independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
