**Certifications & Documents Required**
- Minimum qualifications Cert 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care is mandatory.
- Manual Handling (mandatory)
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
- National Police Check
- NDIS Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Covid-19 Vaccination
- Driver’s License & a registered car.
- Passport
- A visa that authorizes you to work in Australia (For citizens of other countries)

**Experience**
- Relevant work experience in the Health Care, NDIS & Aged Care Industry.

**Your responsibilities**

Below are some of the duties a Support Worker will be expected to perform.

**In-home Care** - Help clients with their regular routines at their homes, provide medical prompts, and assist with meal preparation when required.

**Personal Care -**Showering, toileting, mealtime assistance at home or in the community.

**Out and About -**Support clients to get out, take a class, exercise, go for a walk, volunteer, or participate in community events.

**Transport** - Help clients with getting chores done or travel from point A to point B. (includes taking them to medical appointments, hospital visits, salon visits, etc.)

**Health & Leisure -**Take the client out for coffee, a drive, a movie, lunch, swimming, gym, etc.

**Empowerment -**Empower clients to achieve significant goals such as education, work, or developing a skill. Make a positive influence in the lives of the client and their families.

**Mental well-being -**Using a strength-based and person-centered approach to ensure the client’s mental health is supported in a positive way.

**Admin Duties -**As appropriate, create client file notes and assist with administrative responsibilities to ensure that operations function effectively.

**This role particularly will require the workers to perform personal care tasks, hoist transfers, provide community access, domestic assistance in home, meal preparation and cooking.**

**Pay & Benefits**
- $33- $35 per hour approximately depending on work experience, qualifications, certifications etc..
- Aged Care rates for Aged Care Clients
- Up to $40 per hour depending on the time and day.

**Expected Shifts**
- **Weekdays -**Monday to Friday
- **Weekends -**Saturday & Sunday
- **Night shifts**(Overnight pay rate will differ)
