Behaviour Support Practitioner

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a motivated **Behavioral Support Practitioner** to join our team on a **subcontract basis** (2-3 days per week). This role is perfect for **freshers** who are registered with the NDIS and passionate about providing high-quality behavioral support to individuals with disabilities.
As a **Behavioral Support Practitioner**, you will work directly with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized behavior support plans that improve client outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Behavioral Assessments & Plans**: Conduct assessments to identify causes of challenging behaviors and create tailored behavior support plans.
- **Client & Family Support**: Collaborate with clients, families, and support workers to ensure consistency and effectiveness in behavioral interventions.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Track the success of interventions, making adjustments as needed to meet client goals. Maintain accurate documentation in line with NDIS standards.
- **Training**: Provide training to families and support staff on implementing behavioral strategies.
**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:
- A **Bachelor’s degree** in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- NDIS Behavioral Support Practitioner registration.
- Passion for working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of **Positive Behavior Support (PBS)** techniques.
- Familiarity with **NDIS frameworks** and processes.
- Previous experience working in a clinical or disability support setting.
