**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**

The Arts Investment Program Manager provides a high level of arts administration to all phases of the grant program. This work applies to internal administrative activity and external management of relationships through Funding Agreements and contracts. The Program Manager also undertakes detailed financial management and budget tracking. Detailed database management and reporting is essential to this role.

The Arts Investment Program Manager reports to the Team Leader Arts Investment who in turn reports to the Director.

**What you will bring**
- Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values - accountability, integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence.
- Appropriate tertiary qualification or substantial relevant on-the -job experience in the corporate or community cultural sector/environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the three tiers of Government and funding models and arts and culture sector/industry including across disciplines, agencies, arts organisations and groups.
- A high level of computer literacy especially with databases such as Smarty Grants and Technology One programs.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivery of programmes of work including planning, priority setting, task allocation, monitoring and reporting to senior management.
- Strong administrative and financial skills in managing within a set grant budget and ability to monitor performance of grant recipients and consultants undertaking projects..
- Proven high level analytic and conceptual skills and demonstrated experience in resolving complex issues.
- Excellent stakeholder management and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports.
