Our client for this position is an Australian limited corporation, they currently have a requirement for a Systems Infrastructure Analyst working across of variety of project ranging from Storage & Disaster Recovery, Migration, Security Uplift and more. The incumbent is also responsible for engaging with technology vendors and managed service providers to ensure all technologies are managed as per the managed service agreements, and that all technologies are current and supported.

**Responsibilities**:

- Log incidents, troubleshoot, report, and provide updates to system owners and end users on current issues.
- Liaise with vendors and business owners on the installation of patches, bug fixes and version upgrades.
- Participate in the planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans for all systems.
- Ensure Backups & Recovery processes are in place and current for all systems
- Review/update system documentation in accordance with agreed standards.
- Ensure all technologies are covered by Vendors' Support and/or Warranty Agreements
- Ensure all technologies are maintained at the required software release, firmware, and operating system levels to maintain full vendor support.

**Required Skills & Specialisms**:

- ** Strong Storage & Disaster Recovery experience.**:

- ** Implementing Storage & Disaster Recovery strategy is highly desirable.**:

- Experience Linux and Hyper-V is a nice to have.
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of Networking and Storage technologies.
- A degree qualification in Computer Science, IT or related discipline is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with management on current issues or other matters of importance.
- Demonstrated ability to follow processes
- Demonstrated ability to create and update technical documentation
- Analytical and investigative skills.
- Exposure to but not required: Elasticsearch ELK / Kibana, Shareplex, Business Objects, BIRT, Python, JavaScript, JBoss, Web Services, Quality Centre, Oracle 12c or above, MS SQL Server, PL/SQL.
