3Bridges Community is a registered charity and not for profit organisation, providing a variety of support services to the communities of South East and South West Sydney. Over the past 40 years, with services from early years, through to aging well, we have provided an array of solutions to make a positive difference in our local communities. We assist the lives of many by building happier, healthier, connected, and more engaged, valued and enriched communities.

Volunteering involves contributing some of your own time, to help make a difference in supporting our community. The 3Bridges volunteering program is flexible and supportive and we will train you with the required skills on your volunteering journey, to assist making a positive difference in your life, and in the life of those around you.

**About the Volunteering Role - Mary Potter House**

You will form part of the Youth and Community Services Team, working within the Early Intervention Framework. You will be responsible for engaging with young people by developing positive and non-judgemental relationships that encourage and empower them with a sense of agency within their own lives. You will facilitate connections between young people who attend Drop In and provide them with opportunities to learn life skills, develop socially and assist them to find any additional support they may require.

**Volunteering Duties**
- Provide a soft entry point for young people to engage with our Drop In space with will allow them to access support and other community information and services.
- Engage with young people in a way that they feel welcomed and comfortable, to celebrate diversity, and show a genuine curiosity about each individual.
- Provide young people with the opportunity to participate in targeted programs (living skills, budgeting, healthy relationships) and social activities.
- General cleaning and tidying of Youth Zone
- Participate in Drop In briefs and debriefs

**About You**
- Passionate about engaging with young people
- Enjoy developing and delivering targeted programs to young people, cooking and life skills
- Have the ability to facilitate activities, games, and competitions
