Commercial Assistant

An exciting opportunity for a Commercial Assistant (Pricing and Insights) has become available in the Commercial department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. You will be the conduit between the Commercial department and other business units, driving high-level communications and stakeholder relationships whilst assisting in the execution of ALDI’s pricing processes through operational and project support.

**What does the role look like?**
- Provide exceptional administrative and project coordination support to the commercial team
- Act as a conduit between Commercial and other business units, driving communications
- Collate data and generate reports to provide key metrics and insights
- Update and maintain pricing databases and systems
- Execute basic analytical tasks using Excel and SQL
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate pricing related projects
- Run weekly reports and communicate updates
- Assist in running basic analytics, both repetitive tasks and ad-hoc

**What we need from you?**
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Adept reporting and data analysis experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience using SQL highly regarded, but not essential
- Proven experience in project coordination and/or management desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a pricing/commercial role, preferably in FMCG/Retail is highly advantageous
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Able to work independently given guidance
