**Job Description**:
The Commercial Manager will have a national focus providing high quality financial advice and analysis to support business decision making. Reporting into the General Manager, you will provide financial and operational reporting, in-depth commercial analysis and decision support in regard to the operation’s activities and financial and operational performance.

You will be responsible to support effective financial management of the Grocery business unit that maximise profitability and return on capital while minimising risk. This will also include providing contract management, risk management, project management, financial analysis and management and troubleshooting services to support the Grocery business unit.

Your remit will include but not be limited to:

- Provide commercial support to the General Managers; State Managers & Site based Operations Management of operations to support commercial and operational activities
- Establish sound invoicing processes and monitor compliance to ensure complete, accurate invoicing that results in complete revenue capture and improved working capital performance
- Work closely with the business unit’s finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis of business trends and performance
- Maintain and produce budgets and quarterly forecasts for your portfolio
- Develop, maintain and distribute accurate and timely productivity and performance measurements, reporting and analysis both internally and externally in line with company policy and contractual obligations
- Develop business cases for capital investment, restructuring, change in scope of service/product offering, new business opportunities etc. with local business unit staff and the Grocery Management Team

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- 7 - 10 years’ experience in a commercial / finance role in a similar position
- Demonstrated ability to identify business risk and the commercial implication of business decisions
- Ability to read beyond the text
- Advanced financial modelling and analysis skills
- Strong project management and report writing skills.
- Ability to communicate and present analytical findings in a concise, insightful and simplistic manner
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm and balanced view
- Power BI experience
- Business, Commerce, Logistics or Law degree
- CA / CPA (preferred not essential)
