Engaging with stakeholders, you will work within the cohesive Research and Design team, exploring digital service delivery improvement opportunities, determining benefits, bringing
innovative ideas to life, and designing conceptual solutions that benefit Defence through simplified, guided and integrated user experiences.

The APS4 Project Support Officer reports to the APS5 Project Support Officer, Research and Design team of the Digital Service Delivery Directorate.

The duties of an APS4 Project Support Officer occupation in Defence include the following (note: not all duties are required to be performed during a 12 month performance cycle):

- Assist with project support tasks including the administration and coordination of project documentation.
- Understand the reasons for decisions relating to project support and the broader impacts and implications of activities.
- Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member.
- Build and sustain productive working relations both internally and externally including capability development teams.
- Take the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives.
- Evaluate and provide advice on capability or project proposals.
