Take control of establishing & delivering maintenance principals, planning and managing functions of the maintenance team at our busy Recycling Plants in Victoria.
- Located in Dandenong South, VIC

- Ensure facility, fixed and mobile plant are maintained
- Travel will be involved to our other Victorian sites
- Sites currently involve Dandenong, Hallam & Coburg.

**Re.Cycle** is a part of
**Re.Group**, we own and operate plant sites which process kerbside recyclables from the ‘yellow bin’, as well as commercial recyclables.

**The Role**:
As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for supporting mechanical and conveyor maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Re.Group equipment and components, according to company quality, health, safety and environmental standards and policies.

This hands-on role will see you helping the Site Managers with the daily operations of the plant by focusing on: Maintenance, Site Management, WHS&E and People & Culture.

**Maintenance**
- Initiates, implements and manages the plant maintenance program in accordance with all contractual and maintenance requirements
- Emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance
- Enhance operational output through improved equipment performance and reliability

**Site Management**
- Ensure the site is always in a state of readiness to accept visitors and regulators
- Ensure the maintenance team and contractors leave a clean, safe work environment
- Ownership and accountability maintenance area and tooling

**WHS&E**
- Ensure maintenance team and contractors conduct work in a safe manner, while meeting regulatory requirements.
- Ensure work procedures are followed
- Develop SOPs and complete risk assessments

**People & Culture**
- Represent the company in a professional, positive manner demonstrating Re.Group values.
- Maintain positive working relationships and morale with the site team.
- Demonstrate good human resource practice and comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure all staff are trained and inducted appropriately so they are set up for success in their role.
- Min 3 years’ experience within the Recycling and or Processing Industry
- Proven leadership experience in a Maintenance and Facilities Management role
- Proven dynamics and creativity toward problem solving
- Experience in setting up maintenance principals, practices and systems from the ground up
- Understanding of business practices, including Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Systems
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work seamlessly with cross functional teams, building and driving a positive culture
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver to timelines
- A passion for the environmental sustainability arena
