Simply Seated, a leading event hire company specializing in high-quality furniture and décor for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions, is seeking an experienced and proactive **HR Generalist and Recruiter** to join our team

**Position**: HR Generalist and Recruiter
**Location**: Leichhardt, NSW
**Part-Time**: 3 days per week (flexible)
**Salary**: Competitive, based on experience

**About Us**:
Simply Seated provides bespoke event furniture, custom têxtiles, and décor that help our clients create memorable experiences. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented HR professional to help manage our people operations and contribute to creating a positive and productive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Employment Contracts**: Prepare and generate employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documentation.
- **Onboarding**: Oversee new employee onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive start for all new hires.
- **Generalist HR Support**: Provide advice and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues such as performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
- **Workplace Health and Safety**: Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by promoting health and safety practices, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- **Employee Records**: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
- **HR Policies**: Develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- **Employee Engagement**: Assist in creating programs to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
- **Other Duties**: Support other HR functions as required and assist with ad hoc projects.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, Recruiter, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, recruitment best practices, and HR procedures.
- Experience with onboarding, creating employment contracts, and managing employee relations.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations and practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
- HR qualification or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Shift work

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
