In our Cremorne headquarters, we create organic chocolate from bean to bar. Our philosophy is that the simplest products are best, and usually taste the best too. Hunted + Gathered place an emphasis on small details to create things they can be proud of.

About the role
We are looking for someone to join our chocolate production team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, a Chocolate Production Team Member would be responsible for the quality production of wholesale chocolate. They are also responsible for contributing the smooth running of the production kitchen through correct stock handling, completion of daily preparation tasks and cleaning.

The role will also be responsible for maintaining up to date recipes, methodology and food safety documentation.

Some tasks include:

- End to end production of chocolate including sorting, roasting tempering, wrapping and packaging
- Ensure chocolate is produced is in line with recipes and production methods
- Produce the required production levels/volumes as requested by the Production Manager
- Complete daily kitchen set up and pack down tasks as assigned
- Ensure daily cleaning and task checklists are completed and signed off at the end of each shift
- Ongoing quality control of all ingredients, production and stored stock, reporting any issues to the Production Manager

About You

- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Has excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Methodical and highly organised
- Is both creative and process focussed, has high attention to detail and takes pride in what they do

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cremorne, VIC 3121: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen: 1 year (required)
