We're searching for a Biodiversity Data Curator to join the WildNet team within Information and Digital Science Delivery. This is your chance to merge your scientific expertise and technological savvy to champion biodiversity data delivery.

About the Position: Step into a role where your accumulated knowledge of ecology, field procedures and taxonomy can make a significant impact:

- Ensure the precision of our WildNet database, collaborating with partners such as the Queensland Herbarium and the Australian Faunal Directory.
- Synthesise essential additional information on Queensland's diverse species by engaging with literature and consulting with experts.
- Evaluate data contributions meticulously, liaising with a network of professionals to curate information that informs environmental decisions.
- Guide the department through taxonomic changes and the nuances of managing biodiversity data.
